The XP 3C Black features a Tenifer QPQ finish applied to the all-steel frame and slide. This advanced salt bath ferritic nitrocarburizing process penetrates the steel at a molecular level increasing hardness and corrosion resistance far beyond traditional coatings.

Unlike paint or Cerakote Tenifer becomes part of the metal itself.
