The Colt M5 Carbine features a completely redesigned lower and upper receiver with full ambidextrous controls and an enhanced rail design which maximizes rail space shooter comfort and ensures extreme rigidity.

Utilizing a proven carbine length gas system and a purpose designed free float rail system weight and bulk have been reduced while maintaining the same lethality accuracy and reliability expected from Colt.

With maximum performance and ergonomics as the most critical considerations during design the Colt M5 Carbine is truly the next generation in a legacy of high performance rifles for the modern day warfighter.
