Barnes Tipped TSX (TTSX) bullets are .308"" reloading components built for handloaders who chase big game and want one clean decisive hit. Each 180-grain projectile pairs an all-copper body with a polymer tip that raises the ballistic coefficient meaning your bullet holds its line downrange while still opening fast on impact. For serious power on large game this is the bullet you build a load around.

The construction is what sets the TTSX apart. Barnes machines each bullet from 100% copper so it carries no lead and stays in one piece. On impact the nose opens into four razor-sharp petals that increase the bullet's diameter by roughly 50% creating a wide channel that supports the capability Barnes designs these projectiles to deliver. Because the bullet is monolithic copper it retains its weight instead of shedding fragments which is exactly what you want when you are tracking elk or a heavy autumn buck across rough country.

The boat tail base (the ""BT"" in TTSXBT) tightens the shot at distance by reducing drag so the 180-grain .308 pairs its high ballistic coefficient with cleaner long-range flight. Feeding a 30 caliber rifle this box gives you 50 bullets at a .308"" diameter enough to work up a load and stock ammunition for the season. When you are dialing in accuracy Barnes recommends seating the bullet between 0.030 and 0.070 inches off the lands.
