With a blinding peak beam intensity of 100000 candela using the included SF18650B rechargeable lithium-ion battery or 90000 candela with two 123A batteries the EDC2-DFT delivers the farthest-reaching beam of any compact SureFire EDC handheld light. You'll see farther into the dark to positively identify a potential threat and the EDC2-DFT also provides ample spill light for situational awareness. In addition the EDC2-DFT offers more runtime by virtue of its more energy-dense power sources. Constructed of lightweight aerospace aluminum Mil-Spec hard-anodized and O-ring sealed to keep out the elements the body and tailcap are also knurled for a secure grip. A sturdy two-way clip offers the added flexibility of bezel-up or bevel-down carry. The EDC2-DFT delivers SureFire quality performance and dependability in an everyday carry flashlight that provides peace of mind by helping you see farther into the unknown.
