The Dark 30 Defiance 640 PTZ (DT27000) is an advanced vehicle-mounted thermal camera designed for mobile scouting and wildlife management. It overcomes the limitations of handheld devices and thermal-blocking window glass by mounting directly to the roof of a vehicle providing a full 360-degree view in total darkness.

  • High-Resolution Thermal Imaging: Features a 640x480 resolution sensor (<30 mK NETD) and a 32mm Germanium lens for unparalleled image clarity
  • Pan Tilt and Zoom (PTZ): Offers infinite 360-degree panning and continuous tilting (straight down to 45 degrees above horizontal) along with 1–8x digital zoom.
  • Long-Range Detection: Capable of detecting heat signatures and targets up to 1250 yards away.
  • Versatile Mounting: Includes hardware for secure permanent bolting heavy-duty suction cups or 100lb pull magnets.
  • App and Display Control: Can be operated using a low-latency 10.1-inch wired LCD screen (powered by the vehicle's 12V outlet) or wirelessly via the Dark 30 mobile app on iOS and Android.
  • Rugged Design: Built for harsh outdoor environments with IP66 water resistance.
