Why Scholarships Exist
Christian Vigilant exists to strengthen households through faith, responsibility, and preparedness. Education plays an important role in that mission, especially
when families are intentionally investing in Catholic or Christian formation.
Many families choose faith-based education because they want their children to grow within a moral and spiritual framework that reinforces the values practiced within the home. However, tuition and related costs can create real financial pressure for households already making sacrifices to provide this type of education.
The Christian Vigilant scholarship program exists as a way to support and encourage families who are making that commitment. While the scholarships do not replace the financial responsibility of education, they serve as a tangible way for the community to recognize and support households pursuing faithful formation.
Who Scholarships Are For
Christian Vigilant scholarships are available to member households whose children are enrolled in Catholic or Christian educational programs.
Eligible applicants may include:
- Families with children enrolled in Catholic or Christian elementary schools.
- Households supporting Christian middle or high school education.
- Students attending Christian colleges or formation programs.
- Member households making a serious commitment to faith-centered education.
Applicants must be active Christian Vigilant members at the time of submission and grant of scholarship.
What the Scholarships Provide
Each year Christian Vigilant awards:
Three Scholarships of $1,000 each
These scholarships are intended to assist with expenses related to Catholic or Christian education, which may include:
- School tuition
- Educational fees
- Books or required learning materials
- Other direct educational expenses
Scholarship funds are awarded to the selected households following the review process.
How Scholarship Requests Work
Member households may submit a scholarship request using the application form below. The request includes basic information about the student, the educational program they are enrolled in, and the household’s commitment to Christian formation.
Applications are reviewed periodically, and scholarship recipients are selected based on a combination of factors including the household’s commitment to education, participation in the Christian Vigilant community, and overall alignment with the mission of the program.
Because only three scholarships are awarded each year, not every application can be approved. However, every submission is reviewed thoughtfully.
Education & Formation
Christian Vigilant believes that education and household formation work together. While schools play an important role in teaching and development, the primary
responsibility for formation remains within the household.
Through its programs, resources, and community, Christian Vigilant seeks to support families as they guide the next generation toward lives of faith, responsibility, and stewardship.
The scholarship program is one small way of supporting households that are actively investing in that mission.
Christian Vigilant members who wish to apply for one of the annual scholarships may submit an application using the form below.
Applications are reviewed periodically and recipients are notified once the selection process is complete.
